Westminster School District and Anderson Elementary School will start the 2020-2021 school year with a 100% Virtual Learning Model. However, to plan for when we are able to return to an in-person instructional format, we need you to select your preferred model of instruction through the WSD Return to School Form which is due by Thursday, July 30, 2020. Please complete one form per child in your family and include your child's student ID number. The number can be found in the Aeries parent portal on the WSD website or you may call 714-894-7311 for assistance. Your child my also know his/her ID number, which he/she might call the "lunch number." Please click on the link to complete the form. Thank you!
The recent announcement by Governor Newsom stated that, in order to reopen for in person instruction, counties must be off the California Department of Public Health's COVID-19 Monitoring List for 14 consecutive days. As of now, Orange County is identified as one of the counties that does not meet the criteria to reopen school with an in-person format at this time. Therefore, Anderson School, as part of the Westminster School District, will start the school year with a 100% virtual learning program. The virtual learning program will provide tightly structured and standards-aligned lessons, with frequent synchronous (live) learning, individualized support, peer-to-peer collaboration and an infusion of new learning resources. We will be sharing more information in the coming weeks.
